Requesting deletion of your data
Last updated 25 September 2026. Applies to reply.ably.tz and the Replyably app.
Email data_protection@thinkzone.com from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We'll do the rest and confirm in writing once it's gone.
- Email data_protection@thinkzone.com from the address on your account — that's the whole request.
- We delete your profile, connections, synced posts and comments, drafts, and the reply examples the AI learns from.
- Replies you already published live on Instagram and Facebook; remove those there.
- You'll hear back within 30 days, and we'll confirm once it's done.
How to make the request
One email is all it takes. Write to data_protection@thinkzone.com and ask for your account and data to be deleted. The address above opens a pre-filled message you can send as it is.
Please send it from the email address on your Replyably account — that is how we know the request is really yours. If you can't, tell us and we'll confirm your identity another way before touching anything.
You do not need a reason, a form, a phone call or a visit to a particular page. We would rather you simply wrote to us.
What to put in the email
Keep it short. Anything you leave out, we'll ask for rather than guess at:
- the email address on your account, sent from that mailbox where possible
- what you want gone — the whole account, or one connected Instagram or Facebook account
- whether you also want a copy of your data first
- anything you want us to double-check, such as a username we should look for
You can paste this into your message and fill in the blanks:
Please delete my Replyably account and everything tied to it. Account email: Connected accounts (optional): Anything else (optional):
What gets deleted
Once we've confirmed the request, we remove your account and everything tied to it:
- your profile — email address and display name
- every connected account, including the stored access token that let Replyably read comments and post replies
- the posts and comments we pulled in from Instagram and Facebook
- your drafts — suggested and edited replies, sent or not
- the reply examples the AI uses to learn how you write, so a new account starts from nothing
Deleting your account also ends access at source: the connection is revoked on our side, so nothing further is read from your social accounts. You can also revoke it yourself in your Instagram and Facebook settings, under the list of connected apps.
What we keep, and why
A few things outlive the request, and only for as long as they need to:
- backups — recent copies of the database expire as the backup cycle rolls over; we can't pick a single row out of them any sooner than that
- records we have to keep — for example proof that a deletion happened, or something a court, tax rule or similar obligation requires
- anything already outside our control — see the section below on replies you published
We don't keep your data "just in case", and we never sell it. If we ever hold something back for one of the reasons above, we'll tell you what and why.
Replies already on Instagram or Facebook
Anything you sent through Replyably was published to your own Instagram or Facebook post, and it lives there, not here. Deleting your Replyably account does not pull those replies back. To remove one, delete it on Instagram or Facebook — the reply sits under the same comment you answered. If a particular reply is sensitive, deal with it there first, then send the deletion request.
Removing one connection instead
If you only want to cut off one account — or you're leaving Instagram but staying on Facebook — you don't need to email anyone. Go to the Accounts page and choose Remove next to that account. That deletes the stored token and the posts, comments and drafts that came through it, and keeps the rest of your Replyably account.
It's instant, and it's the right move if you're handing an account to someone else or simply stopping with one platform.
How long it takes
We reply within 30 days at the latest — usually much sooner. Where a request is straightforward and we're sure who you are, we act on it as soon as we see it.
We'll email you when the deletion is done, and tell you plainly if anything has to stay behind and why. If we need to check something first, we'll ask for just that one thing rather than a pile of paperwork.
Access, correction and export
The same address handles the rest: a copy of what we hold, a correction to something wrong, a pause on a particular use, or a withdrawal of consent. You're treated the same either way — asking never costs you anything.
The fuller picture — what we collect, who we share it with, how long we keep it — is in the Privacy Policy. You can also complain to the data protection authority where you live.
